Brett Kollars

Assistant Director with Sioux Falls Parks & Recreation since November 2022. Grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from South Dakota State University with B.S. Biology then University of Kansas with Masters in Healthcare Administration. Started career in healthcare in Kansas City then returned to Sioux Falls and most recently worked as Director of Population Health for Avera Medical Group. Through this work I grew a passion for public health which led me to pursuing work in Parks & Recreation. Beyond work I'm a husband, father, youth sports coach, and enjoy cooking.

Teaghan Slagle
Teaghan is an Aquatics Program Specialist for Rapid City Parks and Recreation. Working as a lifeguard was her first job so it is fun for her to be full circle in the job she started in. When she is not working, she loves to spend time with friends and family, cooking, and in the summer loves to be on their boat as much as possible. She is newly married to her husband Devin and they have 2 little dogs, a weiner dog named Remi and a Chihuahua named Cash.

Josh Cleveland, South Dakota State Parks, Pelican Lake Recreation Area, Watertown
Make such other expenditures as may be authorized. The treasurer shall conduct association business under a fiscal plan approved by the executive board and shall have the authority to approve and execute disbursements of association funds. The funds shall be kept in a bank authorized by the executive board. Three-year term. Term ends 2027.
About Josh: Josh is the District Park Supervisor for the Watertown area State Parks. “The best part about what I do is knowing I provide opportunities for people to relax, unwind, spend time outside with family and friends, and most importantly make memories. There is nothing better than seeing people enjoy themselves in our state parks and knowing you helped make that happen.” In Josh’s free time he enjoys deer hunting, fishing, spending time with family, cheering on the soon-to-be Super Bowl Champion Minnesota Vikings, bowling, and playing baseball

Wendy is a Recreation Program Coordinator with the City of Sioux Falls overseeing the development and coordination of recreation program areas and facility operations. In her spare time she loves to fish with her family, rockhound, read, and explore recreation trails in the area on her e-bike.
